Full of harsh judgment, our Ego can be our worst enemy. Yet, if we can exchange self-importance with self-love, we can become our best ally.
The way we relate to ourselves will be reflected in our external world.
People learn by example.
The saying goes: "Treat others how you would like to be treated."
More importantly, we must add a second part to this phrase that states: "Treat YOURSELF how you would like others to treat you."
Healing is an ongoing process. What we need is acceptance, Compassion, and a willingness to learn better coping skills to deal with all the BS, both internal and external.
