What Is Love?

Love is felt, not thought. Therefore, the Ego cannot grasp it. So, the System has invented its definition:

  • Self-love has been misconstrued as egotism and self-centeredness where people stop caring for each other and the planet.

  • Romantic love is portrayed as a painful yearning full of drama and sacrifice where expectations always seem to fall short.

The System has done its best to turn real Love into a mental disorder filled with unhealthy behaviors of co-dependence, obsession, and disappointment. We are blinded by the "happily ever after" of childhood fables, romantic comedies, and "love" songs that enhance the distortion of that which otherwise, could save us. The System teaches us that to Love is to suffer.

There are many forms of Love, yet in essence, Love is inclusive. It is that which creates collaboration and dissolves the division that the Ego needs to operate. Its energy heals us instead of weakening us. It deepens us and shows us that within apparent vulnerability resides a great strength.

When you feel Loved, you feel safe. Anxiousness and worry fade away. Happiness blooms naturally from within.

Love fills us with wonder. There is no longer a need for defensiveness, fear disappears, and awareness of our rightful place within the Universe is restored.

When there is Love, there is transparency. Our souls recognize each other and interact from this state of awareness instead of from the Ego.

Love and respect go hand in hand celebrating a quality of existence that honors each connection in harmony with the good of all.

The more we learn to distinguish between what Love is and what it is not, the more we will have the power to transform reality.
